Lani is a Colombian-American singer/songwriter, keyboardist, and accordion player based in Iowa, named Latin Artist of the Year at the Iowa Music Awards in 2024. As a solo artist, she captivates with intimate songwriting and delicate vibes, while her powerhouse vocals drive the full band’s explosive rhythm and energy. Together, Lani and her band fuse Colombian Latin music with American pop, making waves across the Midwest.

Had a lovely time leading the Plymouth church Saturday night band last night, and even more of a pleasure to invite Michael Nunez from @son.peruchos to play the quena, in our rendition of "El Humahuaqueño"! ✨ It was also my first time playing guitar in public in probably six years. 😆🎸 Fun all around!! • Thank you to @sethhedquist for the opportunity to cover for you and showcase some traditional Andean music! 🎶 And thank you of course to the fabulous Saturday night band for learning this tune and bringing it to service! 😇
